What is The Gift of Light

The activity workshop blends thoughtful facilitation, emotional insight and education, collaborate teamwork and real-world action.

1. Introduction to Impact
The session begins with a short, powerful insight into global energy poverty and how each solar light builds will directly improves lives.

2. Team Assembly of Solar Lights
In a collection of pairs or small teams team mates are assigned roles — a guide with instructions and a builder who is blindfolded. The aim is to build at least one light each.

3. Personal Message Writing
The human impact is incredibly important here with each participant writing a short colourful letter that creates a powerful moment of reflection and connection.

4. Celebration & Group Impact Moment
The session ends with a shared light-up moment and group photo, capturing the sense of pride and impact made possible by your team.

Format: Live team activity with practical building elements

Duration: 45 mins - 1.5 hours

Location: Available across the UK, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow and more. Sessions can be delivered at offices, conference venues, or other indoor team spaces.

Group Size: 10 - 350+ participants

Facilitators: Experienced lead facilitators & activity support guides
